Another Wash Out at CLR 8/11/12

Mother Nature once again had an agenda of her own planned for Saturday night, washing out yet another event at County Line Raceway.  Rain began falling shortly after the gates opened and forced track officials to cancel the evenings racing action for the fifth time this season.

This Saturday night is Kid’s Night!  Kids will get the opportunity to race their bikes around the track.  Divisions include races for children between the ages of 3 and 15.  Bring out your bike and helmet and take your chance on the track you watch your favorite drivers try to tackle every week.  Due to the rainout, officials have moved the Nashville Feed Super Stock Four Cylinder special to this weekend and added the Rapid Red Racing Supply Thunder & Lightning division to the schedule.  Also on tap for this Saturday night is the Barnes Equipment Late Models, ARCO Restoration Pure Stock Four Cylinders, and the PL Woodard Pure Stock V-8 divisions.

The busy week begins with Red Clay Tuesday at Oak Tavern of Wilson.  We also have an Open Practice this Thursday.  Gates will open at 5:00 with practice from 7:00-10:00.

For more information, call the track at 252-985-1949, check out the website at www.countylineracewaync.com/ or check us out on Facebook.  County Line Raceway is the small track in Eastern North Carolina making some BIG NOISE.  We’ll see you at THE LINE!
