For years, Labor Day weekend has been the only holiday weekend of the year that County Line Raceway holds a race. For many years, this has always been a special for the track’s Late Model division. In 2011, the track came up with the idea to make this weekend the Carolina Steel Block Nationals. The idea took off and brought in drivers from all over the East Coast.

Will be run by County Line Raceway engine and body rules
Tire Rule – Tire Rule – Any SPEC or in open tire Hoosier 1200 or harder, AR38 or harder.
Race Format
8 Lap practice, 2 lap qualifying (2cars per group), and 8 lap heats
8 lap consi
40 Lap Feature
Top 4 lock in from qualifying (use re-draw for positions)remainder run 3 heats, top 5 from each heat locked in. remainder run a consi, top 3 from consi will advance to feature. 2 provisional’s based on 2012 CLR points (must be top 5).
Start 24 cars – $125 entry fee – $400 to start feature. $200 guaranteed if you start a consi but not the feature.
