(Middlebourne, WV) Since plans were unveiled for the richest and first five figure dirt modified event in the state of North Carolina and the first $10,000 to win show ever to be sanctioned by the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour excitement continues building by the day for the season opening event set for March 20-22, 2014. Just days into the 2014 calendar, officials from the County Line Raceway and the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour are pleased to announce the already history making stakes for the Inaugural “North Carolina Modified Nationals� are going up!

Officials are happy to inform participants and fans that an additional feature has been added to the weekend line-up pushing it to four feature events in just two days of racing action. The newly added “Race of the States� will be run on Saturday night and pay the victor $750 dollars to win OR a chance to start on the tail of the ‘NC Nationals A-Main’. The “Race of the States� will take the top two highest finishing cars from each represented state that DOES NOT MAKE IT INTO THE A-MAIN through Saturday evenings Heats and B-Mains. In the event there are more than fourteen states represented the tour will take one car from each state and if needed will fill the remaining twenty car field using the results of the B-Mains from the first non-transfer down each B-Mains finishing order. The state vs. state shootout will reward the winner ultimate bragging rights for his triumph, not just for his race team but the state they represent. Full ‘Race of the States’ purse: 1) $750, 2) $400, 3) $300, 4) $250, 5) $200, 6) $190, 7) $180, 8.) $170, 9) $160, 10) $150, 11) $140, 12) $135, 13) $130, 14) $125, 15-20) $120.

“With the large car count expected we wanted to put a Non-Qualifier type show together on Saturday night� stated, Watson. “The Race of the States should showcase all the talent and different states in attendance while giving travelers a chance at a little extra cash to those who may have had some bad luck earlier in the night� concluded, Watson.

“The excitement continues to grow and we can’t wait for it to get here…the fans will see the best of the best battle it out for two nights and one of the highest modified purses ever� added, Steve Summerlin. “Entries are already coming in for the event, Kenny Wallace has plans to attend, and so much more…this will be a must see for any dirt modified enthusiast� concluded, Summerlin.

The event will kick off on Thursday March 20th where participants will be given the opportunity to shake down their rides prior to racing action in 2014. On Friday night the action heats up as the field will split up and run two complete/separate $1,000 to win, $100 to start preliminaries that will give at least forty racers the opportunity to race in an A-Main. Then on Saturday March 22nd the event will culminate in a complete $10,000 to win Renegade of Dirt Modified show plus the newly added $750 to win, “Race of the States�. It was also announced that the Fastrak Racing Series will join the weekend card adding to the already can’t miss weekend of racing action at the 3/8 mile Elm City, NC dirt oval.

The “Nationals� will also be part of the Renegade of Dirt Modified inaugural ‘Triple Crown’ in 2014 in which the tours three biggest shows will be grouped together as an added bonus to create even more incentives for participation and success.

County Line Raceway is a 3/8 mile clay oval located at 6953 Stagecoach Road in Elm City, N.C. The track has been in operation since May 21st, 1988. County Line Raceway is a family run track, currently being managed by James Upchurch and Brenda Holcombe.
